So yesterday I put up a picture, and I haven't done a TON of work but here's a quick update of the painting and a new page of my sketchblog.

Also while painting I've been listening to White Chapel, All Shall Perish, Salt the Wound, Through the Eyes of the Dead. While drawing on the other hand I've been listening to Mos Def, Black Star, Erykah Badu, and A Tribe Called Quest.

I promised more updates that would come more frequently (like instead of that gap between October and February). Then only one update last week? Really?! What's that all about?

Laziness, and trying to get back on the wagon.

So enough of that, what follows are the concept drawings for a video game that I am working on about Zombies. God I love Zombies. Anyways nothing is set in stone yet and everything might change between now and then but I drew 'em.

The one guy who's leaning funny, yea, I hate that drawing but still it's all gonna be up here.

Sorry! I know it's been a while since I've updated but my life has just short of literally blown up. First with weddings and teaching (oh yea I teach art to K-2 kids), and then a relationship blowing up in my face, I was accepted, enrolled, and dropped out of an MFA program 'cuz I'm broke. Then school started.

Excuses.

It's not like I haven't been drawing or painting. I've just been distracted from posting. THAT ENDS NOW! One of these drawings is for my friend Revstompy, and his cronies who're putting together a game. So I'm taking a crack at designing creatures. Then there are doodles for future Munny's. If you don't know what a Munny is, well you could google search it, or just wait a few weeks and see the painted ones I post here.

Wow, it's been a while.

My bad, sorry.

It's not that I haven't been drawing it's just that I've been having trouble figuring out what to draw so I end up doodling, and those pages suck. Here's an example/proof:

But once I realized I hadn't sketched out my next painting, or really drawn it at all other than the pictures I see in my pea-sized brain I started figuring out how to draw it. In pieces 'cuz it's easier for me to break it into easily digestible items and put them together like a puzzle. So here it is. Lemme know what you think!

So yea..

This weekend I had to go to a wedding in Hoboken. On the plus side, free food. On the down side, mass during the wedding ceremony. Oh, and I danced. I danced more than I have since middle school when the running man and cabbage patch kid where still in. Don't fuck with my kid n' play.

So yea, too busy to do anything but do wedding crap all weekend to draw. Here's the update, lemme know what you think.

A lil' late, but better than a missed period?

So yea, those of you who follow me on facebook have seen that I've been trying to update that frequently, and those of you who only follow me there won't read this. DAMN YOU! Anyways, I was going to start a new painting that involves a saber tooth tiger skull and autumn leaves but my girlfriend said "If you don't keep painting animals practicing religion you'll never see my boobs again."

Ok she didn't say that but she did say I should keep painting 'em so spontaneously I figured out what I wanted to do. Needless to say I sketched it out today and I worked out the details in pen and just started writing random words. Free association is how I title most of my pieces. Enjoy!

So I've been gone a few days but I've been doodling while away. Also since one of my co-workers said my blog was proof that I was a hack, you'll notice a difference in the material posted from here on out.

Pitiful Page Phore

I apologize for the alliteration in the title of this update. However, as you can see..these drawings are pitiful. But this is what happens when you don't draw superheroes for a long time and then try to draw them in pen. Just be glad I erased the leaping tiger I tried to draw. Goddamn that was bad. Anyways here we go.

An easier Day 3

So this time atleast I had some ideas, though I didn't have the patience to finish one, and the other didn't come out so good. I wanted to make a pathetic looking zombie and a steam punk-esque battle droid because I'm a nerd. I usually hate my filigree but this time I liked it and hated my tech bits. Anyways, here's another 2 pages of me doodling.
